UK Trip Update 3

July 14th: Museums
The night before (July 13th) we decided that we would head to South Kensington and go to a couple of museums. We went to the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Natural History Museum, both in South Kensington. They were both wonderful, although I wish there had been AC in the building as it was really hot that day.

This is right by the Hyde Park Corner Underground Station.
I didn't take many pictures at the Natural History Museum as it was pretty dark in the building. I was also playing with all the cool things that they have in there. ;)

July 16th: Covent Garden & Trafalgar Square
On the 16th, we took the train and then the tube to Covent Garden and looked at the cute, little market that's there. We found a couple of things that we are definitely going to go back for. We then walked from Covent Garden to Trafalgar Square and took a few photos there. Haley started feeling unwell, so we hopped on the tube near there and went home for the day.

Let me know in the comments where your favorite place to travel to is. ;)

ALSO! I'm vlogging my entire trip, so if you are interested in seeing my vlogs, here's the link to the playlist I created for this trip. The London Vlogs Playlist

UK Trip: Update 2

July 12th: Enfield Town and BBQ
Saturday was a lazy day where we just went to Enfield Town and got coffee at Cafe Nero and stopped into Claire's to look at their sunglasses. We then had a BBQ at my dad's place. The steak my dad cooked up was amazing. They also made kebabs, but I'm not too fond of those. Haha.

July 13th: Forty Hall & Estates
Since it was a Sunday, we decided to do things around Enfield, rather than fight train/tube construction/delays and tourists out in central London. We went to Forty Hall & Estates, which is a beautiful house with a lot of trails and flowers. It was so beautiful and I am so glad that we got to go and see it. While walking around on the trails, it kind of felt like we were in the Secret Garden or something. There was also a massive tree that reminded me of the tree in the Lion King.

It was getting pretty late when we left Forty Hall, so we just went to Town Park in Enfield for a little while before dinner.

Thanks for reading! Let me know in the comments below if you know of anywhere in London you'd think I'd be interested in going. I'm always on the lookout for non-touristy things to do.

UK Trip: Update 1
Welcome back everyone! It's been quite a while since I've updated y'all on what's going on in my life. I'm currently in LONDON! We got here on Wednesday (July 9th) around 11am. That first day, we went to the little shopping center, in the town where my dad lives, and looked at all of the stores. We mainly went into Boots and got a few hygienic products that we hadn't brought with us.

The next day, July 10th, we got a one day travel card and rode the train to Finsbury Park and got on another train to King's Cross. We walked around the King's Cross area and mainly looked at all of the building/architecture. We then went back to the tube station and hopped on the tube to Piccadilly Circus where we ate at a wonderful little Italian Restaurant called Mediterraneo. The restaurant was adorable and the food was fantastic. We shared a pizza and bruschetta.

We then walked around Piccadilly and found an H&M where we all got a few things. I got a dress (that was on sale) and a romper that you shall see very soon. :)

The next day (July 11th), we went to Oxford Circus and walked around. We found a Primark where I got a parka, as it was raining a little bit and didn't have an umbrella. I also just wanted an excuse to get a cute, white one. After Primark, we walked around some more and ate at a Whole Foods. I got a slice of pizza and some fries (or chips as they would say). We then hopped on the tube and went back to my dad's house. We were all very tired, as we hadn't slept well the night before. Our bodies are adjusting to the time zone and how it is still light outside at 10pm. We are also doing A LOT of walking, which we are not used to.

I hope y'all enjoyed this update (they will get better and have more photos). Let me know of any places that you think we should go to while we are here in the UK. We are planning on doing more touristy things (like Big Ben, House of Parliament, Tower of London, and such), but I'd like to know more of the non-touristy sites.

Thanks for reading.
